INDYCAR Fast Six: What's Trending in @IndyCar from Dec. 14-21

Updated:

INDYCAR's "Fast Six" is a report derived from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We seek and find pics and quips as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence into tweets, Instagrams and more. Check back regularly when we post the latest.

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

You may have seen that Marco Andretti visited Indianapolis' Riley Hospital for Children last week and delivered a new TV for the kids' game room. But Marco isn't the only member of the Andretti family ready for the holidays. As evidenced by this photo of his bulldog, Moodie.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU FILTHY ANIMALS

"Home Alone" is a classic Christmas movie. A lot of people have been watching and tweeting about it this week, including Josef Newgarden.

Can we just take a moment to reflect on the sub par parental supervision skills from Kevin McCallisters mother and father.

THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS 'FRIGHTFUL'

Like any December day, Simon Pagenaud bundled up to go outside with his dog Norman. The only problem, it was 75 degrees in Charlotte, N.C. Fortunately for us, Simon's girlfriend, Hailey McDermott, was there to capture it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CONOR AND RYAN!

Drivers Conor Daly and Ryan Hunter-Reay had birthdays last week. Both claimed to be turning 25, but only one of them really did. (Hint, it isn't RHR!)

Thanks for all the bday wishes!! Can't believe I'm 25 already. Thanks to everyone at @AutoNation for this amazing cake πŸŽ‚ @CureBowl pic.twitter.com/AYbhYgTgmM

Oh wow 😳were children's rabbit onesies a thing back then? https://t.co/zt4Hsd4a14

#TBT: It wouldn't be Throwback Birthday Thursday without a look back at our friend @ConorDaly22's first May at @IMS! @IndyCar pic.twitter.com/pH0UVdtA0f

MAX'S MILESTONE

Max Chilton hit a social media milestone, becoming the second current fulltime Verizon IndyCar Series driver to hit 200,000 followers on Twitter (his Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Tony Kanaan is the other one).

Thanks for all following and being apart of my journey!
Nearly one for every hour I have been alive.

WINNERS DRINK MILK

Alexander Rossi is spending a lot of the offseason in California and one of his friends challenged the Indianapolis 500 winner to a "friendly" (???) game of Mario Kart. Rossi probably didn't need to save fuel to win this race, but he still got milk to celebrate the win.

Just won at Mario Kart. Cheers. #PeachFTW pic.twitter.com/YViyy2phJx
